JVH Homes located 13120 61 ave Surrey, BC V3X 2H5 is looking to hire 2 Full-time/Permanent carpenters immediately
Work location : Various locations throughout lower mainland
Job Duties : Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and identify requirements
May prepare cost estimates for clients
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Fit and install windows, door, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring, and erect wall and roof systems
May supervise other construction workers
Education – Completion of secondary school required
Work experience – Minimum 2-3 years of related work experience required
Language- English
Salary- $ 29.00 /hour (40 hours per week)
